A: If your present hosting provider can no longer fulfill the needs of your web site, or if you face regular downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the client care staff to reply to you, it might be a smart idea to switch your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At Titus Group - Web Hosting, we are aware that this can be hard & time–consuming. That’s why we will do all that for you at no cost!Our expert technical team members will move your web site content from your present provider to us. Our techs have got broad experience with web site migration and are able to take care of everything – from a traditional WordPress blog or Joomla^™ site, to an extremely complex, custom–made web app.

A: There are many aspects to keep in mind – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That said, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour time frame. Smaller–sized sites are transferred faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: We don’t collect any information that is private. We’ll need, however, the login information for your present hosting account along with the name of the site that you want to transfer.

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose the very same information you have provided to your present web host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is dealt with.

A: While we migrate your site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. When the migration is completed, we will make certain that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to notifying you that the migration is finished. After that, we’ll instruct you how to move the domain to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS records.

A: No. Apart from your login info for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven web hosting platform as long as we can gain access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we’re unable to transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
